This patch is to be installed after RoofWright 6.8 has been installed to improve reliability and fix a number of issues reported to us since the release. This update is NOT suitable for special versions of RoofWright or versions earlier than 6.8.0.156. Trial version cannot be updated.

Important Notes
It is highly recommended that anyone who has purchased the Window Module should install this update. It unlocks a number of features which were mistakingly unavailable in the original 6.8 version.
Update 2 includes ALL changes and improvements from Update 1, so you do not need to install Update 1 first (if you already have done, that is fine also).

Release Notes
This version includes a number of improvements and changes intended to improve performance, reliability and resolve issues reported by our customers.
The list below is a summary of what's new or changed in Update 2 since Update 1. If you wish to find out what changes were included in Update 1 (all of which are also in Update 2 anyway), click here.
Graphics Improvements (3D and 2D)
- Improved stability in certain problematic situation
- Improvements to be performance of 3D during use
- Clearer, neater hidden lines 3D view (and for print-outs)
- Raked window styles now appear much clearer and more accurate on print-outs and during editing
- Open and filled arch styles now show properly in 3D, properly (and clearly) outlined on print-outs to make them easier to see
- Some glitches in the 3D view in certain cases now resolved
Ancillary Pricing
- Complex question sets with numerous nested child questions now price accurately, including discounts and mark-ups as expected
- Question answering screen now more responsive and correctly hides child questions when needed
- Better support when questions are un-answered or re-answered differently
- Mandatory markers now show properly against all groups containing mandatory questions
Window and Door Pricing
- Additional costs can now be set up against window frames (Silver Edition only)
- Improved discounting options, including discountable dummy and georgian bars
- Improved cill pricing options (e.g. prices can be set for foiled and un-foiled cases seperately)
- Glazing in doors now price per pane, pricing base infills properly too
- Bay pole and coupler lengths now account correctly for basework rules (for print-outs)
- Improvements to wall and window editor to give clearer representation of the glazing being used, arches etc
Basework
- Applying "dwarf wall" wall styles to a design now correctly re-determined frame sizes
- Squint panels now correctly updated and changed after alter frames on a wall
Roof Pricing and Bespoke Designs
- Improved support for pricing T-shapes and setting up rafters on these designs
- Negative roof discounts are now permitted (can be used to increase the price of a roof) (Silver Edition only)
- Improved support for muntins, such as auto-creation of muntins, and copying them across a whole roof
Note: Some users experience issues displaying the high quality photo-realistic 3D graphics within RoofWright. In almost all cases, obtaining and installing the latest video card drivers from the manufacturer solves these issues. If you experience such problems, please refer to the manufacturer of your laptop, PC or video card to obtain these drivers. Even if your computer or video card is very new, it is UNLIKELY to be supplied with the latest drivers so it is still recommended that you obtain them.
