Decorative Couplers
Decorative Eaves and Couplers
If you sell anything ornate, such as orangeries, timber conservatories etc, you might find the following very valuable.
RoofWright can produce some stunning effects using a combination of different "eaves beams" and "coupler systems", as shown below:
Firstly create a new drawing, such as the Double Edwardian shown above. Now we need to select a special "coupler system". RoofWright comes with two special systems called "Orangery" and "Decorative", and these can be selected as shown below:-
Next, we need to select a different "eaves beam". There are 4 to choose from, and this is done as shown below:-
Simply doing this will give you the effects shown below, almost instantly. One of the effects of this is that your frames will be reduced in width, so if you're planning to manufacture these it's probably best to talk to us first!
And a bit closer up!
It's also possible to change the width of an individual coupler (to create a more authentic orangery effect), as follows: Firstly, open the walland window editor and "right-click" the relevant coupler, as shown below:-
Select "Edit Coupler", and you can change the size of the coupler,a shown below:-
The effect of different coupler sizes is shown below for comparison - I've highlighted the couplers and bay posts with green blobs. (I don't recommend you go with this design!)
Hope this helps
